“Little hands create beautiful paper craft….”
With an objective to stimulate the imagination of the children and to develop creativity instinct amongst students KG &Primary wing of SIS conducted Origami activity on 21st April. Students participated with a lot of gaiety and enthusiasm in this enterprising activity.
The teachers engaged the students with simple and exciting craft work where young minds came up with great ideas and exhibited a practiced hand at manipulation of paper into impressive shapes and patterns. The little hands worked smoothly and efficiently to make fish, flower, boat, butterfly, dog, bird, house, tulips, fan, joker etc. and displayed them with pride.
The transformation of a flat sheet of paper into a three dimensional form using only two hands was a magical experience for the tiny tots. With a finished product at hand they experienced the feeling of accomplishment and satisfaction.
The bulletin boards were decorated with art and craft work made by the “Budding Artists “of SIS
The activity enhanced fine motor skills and helped them to think new and big besides boosting the self-confidence and self-esteem of our students.
