The CBSE (i) wing organized Origami demonstration for Students of grade I to IV. Origami, from ori meaning “folding”, and kami meaning “paper” (kami changes to gami due to rendaku) is the traditional Japanese art of paper folding, which started in the 17th century AD at the latest and was popularized outside of Japan in the mid-1900s.
The demonstration held on 12th April 2015 in the class rooms from 10 AM to 11. AM for Junior Section. The class teachers monitored the entire event. The purpose of this program was to introduce Japanese method of paper folding art.
