SIS STUDENTS REVERED TEACHERS BY CELEBRATING TEACHERS’ DAY
Teachers’ day is celebrated on 5th of September every year to commemorate birthday of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, the former president of India and an eminent educator.
Budding stars of SIS celebrated teachers’ day with immense enthusiasm and expressed their gratitude to their educators. The event was observed to pay a tribute and recognize the hard work of the mentors to mould the young minds. The cultural programmes were staged by the students with fun and frolic and teachers were involved in fun games. The students’ council assigned duties to the students for monitoring and stepping into the shoes of teachers by becoming teacher for the day. Highlights of the event included fun filled game shows, speeches, songs and skits efficiently organized by the students. The students exhibited remarkable sense of duty and diligence in acknowledging the hard work of teachers and making them feel special on the occasion.
