The 77th Independence Day celebration at SIS Qatar was a momentous occasion to commemorate the spirit of freedom and unity. The event was organized with great enthusiasm that highlighted the significance of India’s independence. The celebration began with a solemn flag hoisting ceremony, symbolizing the nation’s sovereignty and the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters. The national flag fluttered high in the sky, evoking a sense of pride and patriotism among the attendees.
The tri-colour National Flag was hoisted in School by the Managing Director of the School – Mr. K.C.Abdul Latheef. While delivering his Independence Day message, the Principal, Mr.Rafeeq Rahim commemorated the sacrifices of the forefathers to build up a democratic nation on strong secular footings. He also urged everyone to contribute towards the cultural and economic development of the nation and be united for one reason – India. He shar ed his insights on the importance of independence and the responsibility of the youth in upholding its values. His speech inspired the attendees to contribute positively to the nation’s progress. Dr. Salil Hassan, the Vice Principal proposed the vote of thanks.
