Abacus Activity

“Colourful Abacus – a stepping stone to spark curiosity, imagination and generative innovation”.

A counting frame craft activity was conducted last week to offer our tiny-tots hands-on introductory experience to get started at learning math.

A wide range of enriching and captivating hands on activities curated by teachers were fun filled and quite joyful to help young minds discover, explore and develop basic numeracy skills.

The activities focused to encourage creativity, artistic ability and emotions of the little ones. Children developed and enhanced their number aptitude, concentration, self-confidence, logical understanding and analytical skills using physical device to mental drills and creative visualization.

Children enjoyed as they moved the abacus beads back and forth to count, create patterns and recognise colours which helped fine tune their hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills.
