Pre-Primary Section of Shantiniketan Indian School conducted an online “ABC Fun Activity” on the 15th of April 2021, to help children practice and reinforce recognition of alphabet and its letter sounds.
The young ones joined the activity eagerly with pre-cut ice-cream cones and scoops in front of them to play ice-cream theme games. Children enthusiastically participated in a variety of digital friendly Alphabet Matching, Sorting Games and creative hands on activities in a highly joyful learning environment. The little ones enjoyed learning upper and lower cases alphabet as each one of them tried to emerge as the winner by being the first one to match the letter called out by the teachers.
The fun-filled activity successfully developed the letter formation and its phonic sounds as well as identification, association and phonic skills.
