April 1, 2026:

The Parent Orientation Session for the academic year 2026–2027 for newly admitted students was conducted on 1st April 2026 (Wednesday) from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Multi-Purpose Hall of Shantiniketan Indian School (Afternoon Shift).

The session began with a prayer by Neza Maryam (1D2), followed by the Qatar and Indian National Anthem. The vision and mission of the school were then briefly presented.

The welcome address was delivered by Ms. Sajina Cholayil Abubacker (FS Academic Supervisor), followed immediately by the principal’s address by Mr. Rafeeq Rahim.

An overview of the Foundation Section was presented by Ms. Sajina Cholayil Abubacker. The overview of the Middle and Preparatory Sections was presented by Ms. Sreerekha. The assessment pattern of the Preparatory and Middle Sections was presented by Ms. Thanveera (Academic Coordinator).

Further, Ms. Liji Abdulla and Ms. Mashitha (Activity Coordinators) presented the curricular and co-curricular activities. Mr. Abdul Hameed (Operational Manager) explained the school policies and procedures, including book and uniform distribution.

A counseling session on “Students’ Wellness” was conducted by Ms. Ansiya Mohamed Arif (Counselor) The open session was handled by Mr. Rafeeque Ahmed (Sr. Headmaster), allowing parents to clarify their queries.

The program concluded with closing remarks by Mr. Rasheed Ahamed T. S (President) and a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Salman (Academic Supervisor: Grade 3 to 10).

The session was informative and helped parents understand the academic structure, expectations, and support systems of the school.
