Anti Bullying Awareness Session

January 10, 2026:

Students of Grades 6 to 8 participated in a meaningful Bullying Awareness Workshop titled “Be a Buddy, Not a Bully,” conducted by the school counsellor, Ms. Faheema Mustafa, at the Multipurpose Hall on 6th, 7th, and 10th January 2026. The interactive sessions helped students understand the true meaning of bullying, emphasizing that it is intentional, repeated, and based on a power imbalance. Learners were guided to distinguish between playful teasing, unkind behavior, and bullying, both on campus and online.
Through real-life examples, visual aids, and engaging activities such as the thumbs up–thumbs down exercise, students explored the emotional impact of bullying on all individuals involved. The workshop also equipped students with practical strategies to respond confidently, support peers, practice online safety, and seek help from trusted adults. The program concluded with students taking the Anti-Bullying Pledge, committing to be upstanders and to foster a safe, caring, and inclusive school environment. Together, the message was clear—Be a Buddy, not a Bully!
