Shantiniketan Students Represent Qatar in Asian Physics Olympiad 2025
Maryam Mavad, a student of Class 12A at Shantiniketan Indian School, Doha, brought pride to the nation by representing the State of Qatar in the Asian Physics Olympiad (APhO) 2025, held in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, from May 4 to May 12, 2025.
Maryam was selected after successfully clearing the first round of the International Physics Olympiad, conducted by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, Qatar, in January 2025. Out of 35 participants from across the country, only 8 students were selected to represent Qatar, with Maryam being one of them.
Her participation in this prestigious international event is a testament to her academic excellence and dedication. The school community commends her outstanding achievement and wishes her continued success in all future endeavours.
