As part of the celebration of Gandhi Jayanti, Shantiniketan Indian School’s Scouts and Guides team along with teachers, visited the Wakrah Family Beach for a Beach Cleaning Activity to spread awareness of a Clean Environment. Students in large number cleared a huge amount of garbage and plastics littered on the beach.
Students showed great community spirit as they enthusiastically gathered the waste from the beach and spoke to the visitors to spread awareness and care for the environment.
The entire SIS family and the people present on the beach highly appreciated and supported the efforts of the students.
