The SIS Students Dance Troupe gave a scintillating classical dance performance in the Bharat Utsav 2019, organized by the Indian Culture Centre (ICC) in association with the Embassy of India. The mega cultural event held at Sheraton’s Majlis Hall, on 12th April 2019 was based on the theme ‘The Festivals of India’.
Hundreds of performers from different Indian Schools and organisations presented various dances which allowed the audience to enjoy the festivals celebrated across India. SIS students Akshara PS (9C),Sneha Tom (9E), Devna Ganeshan (7F), Meghna Kamath (11 D), Riya Jayaprakash (11 D), Thanushiya Rajan (11 C), Ganga Gopalan (9 B), Theertha (8 C), created an aura of festivity of Onam through the traditional dance- Thiruvathira.
