The Commerce Department of Shantiniketan School proudly hosted the BIZWHIZ Quiz Competition on 12th May 2025, an intellectually stimulating event that brought together students from both Commerce and Science streams in a spirited battle of knowledge and wit.
The event was meticulously organised by Mrs. Ifra Khursheed, Head of the Commerce Department, along with Mrs. Sheeja, Mrs.Shafeeah and Mrs. Suchitra and the enthusiastic students of Class 12-D, who played a key role in planning and executing the programme successfully. Their efforts ensured a seamless and vibrant event that was appreciated by all in attendance.
The competition featured several exciting rounds covering topics such as business awareness, economic trends, general knowledge, and logical reasoning. The inclusion of Science stream students gave the event a cross-disciplinary edge, promoting collaboration and holistic learning.
After a series of challenging rounds, the following students emerged victorious:
First Place: Parvathi (Class 12B) and Sofiyathul Sulaikha (Class 11C)
Second Place: Madiha (Class 12C) and Zara Fatima (Class 11C)
Third Place: Azaan (Class 12B) and Rikhas (Class 11C)
Their innovative approach and teamwork helped them secure a place among the top three. The quiz was graced by the presence of distinguished dignitaries, including President Mr. Rasheed Ahmed, Principal Mr. Rafeeq Rahim, and Vice Principal Mr. Sujith Kumar, who all commended the participants and the organizers for their commendable efforts. In their addresses, the dignitaries highlighted the importance of such events in fostering analytical thinking, confidence, and teamwork among students.
The event concluded with a certificate distribution ceremony where the winning teams were awarded certificates and mementos. The success of BIZWHIZ 2025 marks yet another milestone in the school’s journey toward encouraging interactive and inclusive learning experiences.
