Bridging Connections: Parents’ Orientation at Shantiniketan Indian School

April 12, 2025:

As the academic year 2025-2026 begins, Shantiniketan Indian School in Doha, Qatar, conducted an engaging and inclusive Parents’ Orientation Program on April 12, 2025, led by Academic Supervisors Mrs. Nazia Saleem and Ms. Bushra PK. The event attracted over 300 parents from Grades 6 to 12, marking a significant opportunity for reconnecting after an extended break.

The primary aim was to provide parents with a comprehensive overview of the school’s academic programs, assessment structure, communication methods, uniform policies, code of ethics, and strategies to ensure a smooth academic journey for their children. Each supervisor presented tailored information specific to their sections, offering valuable insights into curricular offerings and co-curricular activities that support holistic student development.

Well-planned and organized, the event successfully fostered open dialogue between parents and educators, enhancing understanding of the school’s educational framework. This collaboration aimed to bridge the gap between home and school, uniting educators and parents as partners in their children’s academic journeys.
