Cancer Prevention Day (FN)

February 4, 2026:

Cancer Prevention Day was thoughtfully observed for students of the Preparatory Section (Grades 3–5) with the aim of creating awareness about healthy living in an age-appropriate and engaging manner. The programme was conducted under the supervision of Academic Supervisor Mr. Wayne Rodrigues and was meticulously planned by Activity Coordinator Ms. Nazia Tahseen, with the dedicated support of all Preparatory Section teachers.

Grade 3 students participated in My Healthy Habits Hand, creatively highlighting the importance of healthy food, hydration, exercise, proper sleep, and kindness. Grade 4 learners engaged in the Build a Healthy Body Chart activity, working collaboratively to identify body organs and link them with positive lifestyle habits. Grade 5 students designed a Healthy Choices & Caring Community Wheel, demonstrating how daily healthy practices contribute to overall well-being. The activities effectively emphasized that mindful choices can help prevent diseases and promote lifelong health.
