May 21, 2025:
16 enthusiastic students from Grades 9 and 10 had the exciting opportunity to attend Career Village 2025 at KidZania Doha, organized by Qatar Career Development Center (QCDC) under Qatar Foundation. They were accompanied by the School Counsellor, Mrs. Faheema, and Mrs. Shamsiya Suhaibu, our Care and Guidance (CNG) Mentor.
This year’s edition featured dedicated experiential learning zones, interactive workshops on soft-skills development and industry trends, and personalized counseling sessions with career-guidance professionals. Students engaged in hands-on simulations and explored real-world work environments that brought various professions to life.
They had the invaluable opportunity to network with experts across a wide range of sectors, including:

● Public Administration
● Aviation and Aeronautics
● Technology
● Education
● Finance, Investment, and Banking
● Energy
● Manufacturing and Retail
● Transportation and Logistics
● Medicine
● Humanitarian and Social Work
● Media and Public Relations
● Hospitality and Tourism
Through these interactions, students gained firsthand insights into the day-to-day realities, required skills, and emerging opportunities in each field. Many discovered new career interests and left with a better understanding of the academic paths needed to pursue their goals.
The experience was eye-opening and empowering, helping students connect their classroom learning to future aspirations while building confidence and purpose. We thank QCDC and all participating organizations for this inspiring event that truly supports Qatar’s vision of a future-ready generation.
