The students of Shantiniketan Indian School, Doha won 3 Gold, 3 Silver and 8 Bronze medals in the CBSE Qatar Cluster Taekwondo Competition organized by Ideal Indian School on 21 & 22 May 2017. It was remarkable and delighting that all the 11 boys and 09 girls who took part in the competition exhibited greater level of performance in their categories.
Gold Medalists – Asha Shani (class VI-D), Ahmed Ruhul (Class IX-B) and Sushant kumar Deep (class XII-A) have been selected to participate in the CBSE National Taekwondo Championship, to be held in India.
Silver medalists– Padmapriya (class VI-D), Rishal Chowdhury (class XI-B) and Urba Chowdhury (class XII-A)
Bronze medalist– Mohammed Ahmed (V-H), Nagam (VI-D), Puja KC (VI-B), Fawzan Muslihudheen (VI-D), Mohammed Bin Munir (VII-E), Jacob Mathew (VII-A), Reem Hani (IX-C) and Hafsa Munir (XI-E).
