Children’s Day Celebration at SIS

Student Council Members of Shantiniketan Indian School, organized a day long program to celebrate Children’s Day at School. Students in colourful dresses arrived to school and enjoyed a variety of games, quiz, fun-filled activities that brought beautiful smiles on their face.

Senior students took to classes and entertained the students giving them an experience that they will cherish in life. Kindergarteners, and Junior section students had an array of activities which included quizzes, sudoku, dum charades, puzzles, crossword, word search, drawing and painting while Senior students had a game with the teachers.

Senior students conducted quizzes on India, its heritage, role of nationalist leaders in freedom movement. They also organized fun based hand on activities in classroom and oriented students with healthy food habits.

It was a memorable day for all the students in school as they paid their tribute to Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of Free India and the great nationalist on his birthday. All activities were conducted strictly following the Covid- protocol.
