The Commerce Department of Shantiniketan Indian School organized an enriching and interactive session where distinguished professionals shared their insights with the students. The programme was coordinated under the leadership of Mrs. Ifra Khursheed, HOD Commerce, along with Commerce teachers Mrs. Sheeja Thamby, Mrs. Ayesha Muskan, Mrs. Suchitra Samjith, and Mrs. Shafeeah, with the enthusiastic participation of the students.
The session was initiated by Mr. Rahul Rajendran, a Wealth Consultant, Entrepreneur, and the Founder Director of StudentX. With vast experience in finance and business, he has been instrumental in guiding individuals and organizations towards financial growth and entrepreneurial success.As the visionary behind StudentX, Mr. Rahul has created a platform dedicated to nurturing young talents, enhancing student skills, and bridging the gap between academic knowledge and real-world applications
Mr. Manzoor Moideen, General Manager at Genius International WLL, conducted the session in an engaging manner. He introduced the students to the StudentX programme, highlighting its vision to empower students with life skills beyond academics.
Mr. Shinoj Aravindan, General Manager at Go Green International Trading and Managing Director at GIAX Trading & Contracting WLL, shared his inspiring entrepreneurial journey. He asked thought-provoking questions about his path to success and motivated the students with valuable insights.
Mr. Aboonavas Perumkadakkad, a senior retail professional with global experience, emphasized the importance of setting clear goals in life and shared his perspective on achieving true success. He explained that success is not a one-time achievement but a continuous journey of learning, discipline, and determination.His message encouraged students to believe in themselves, develop a vision for the future, and transform obstacles into stepping stones toward excellence.
Mr. Fazil Abdul Kareem, Manager – Projects at Marine Air-Conditioning & Refrigeration Co., also joined the event. Well known for executing the world’s first outdoor air-conditioned street at Katara, Doha, his presence further inspired the students to think innovatively and pursue excellence in their future careers.
The programme was lively, interactive, and joyful, with students actively engaging in discussions. A fun activity—“Guess the Personality”—was also conducted, which created excitement and learning beyond the classroom.
At the conclusion of the programme, all the distinguished professionals were honored with Certificates of Appreciation for their valuable contributions. Mr. Rafeeq Rahim, Principal, not only appreciated the Commerce Department team for their initiative but also added his insightful remarks, highlighting the importance of such sessions in shaping future-ready leaders. He expressed deep appreciation to all the industry leaders for dedicating their time and expertise to inspire students. Mr. Sujith Kumar, Vice Principal, also lauded the initiative and commended the efforts of the teachers and students in making the programme a grand success.
