Crossword solving involves several useful skills including vocabulary, reasoning and spelling. The blooming buds of SIS of Class I and Class II are well nurtured and trained to identify and understand the terms being used while solving the crossword puzzle. This activity helped them to acquire new terminology. Other important skills that were polished through this activity includes making inferences, evaluating choices and drawing conclusion.
Enhancement of all the above skills was the main aim behind this activity.
The students participated in the activity in a very enthusiastic manner which turned out to be a great success.
