Educational Trip Fostering Experiential Learning

In an effort to promote active learning and engage students in hands-on experiences, a carefully planned educational trip to Kidzania was organized from October 23rd to October 29th, 2023. This immersive experience aimed to enhance students’ understanding and retention of knowledge by providing them with interactive role-play activities.
Throughout this well-structured trip, students independently immersed themselves in over 40 engaging role-play scenarios at various educational establishments. These establishments were meticulously chosen to align with the Experiential Learning approach to education. The role-play activities allowed students to practically apply their learning, fostering critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and creativity.
The trip yielded numerous benefits for the students. Firstly, it offered a memorable and engaging learning experience that transcended traditional classroom instruction. The hands-on nature of the activities enabled students to actively explore and experiment, resulting in a deeper grasp of the subject matter. Furthermore, the trip encouraged teamwork, communication, and collaboration as students worked together to navigate the role-play scenarios.
The successful coordination of these trips was led by Mr. Wayne Rodrigues, with unwavering support from the respective Section Heads. The trip to Kidzania exemplified the school’s commitment to holistic education, combining fun and learning to equip students with practical skills and a love for knowledge.
