Educational Trip – Foundational Section (AN)

January 21, 2026:

The Foundational Section (Afternoon Shift) organised an educational trip from 18 to 21 January 2026, aimed at providing students with meaningful learning experiences beyond the classroom. A total of 459 students from KG to Grade 2 participated in the trip. The programme was designed to promote observational learning, environmental awareness, and overall development in a safe and engaging manner.
The Kindergarten students visited the Cruise Terminal Aquarium, where they observed a variety of marine animals and aquatic life. This visit enhanced their understanding of sea creatures and their habitats, encouraging curiosity and learning through visual exploration.
Students of Grade 1 and Grade 2 visited the Old Doha Miniature, which depicts life in Doha during the 1930s. The displays showcased traditional houses, occupations, and modes of transport used in earlier times. This visit helped students gain insight into Qatar’s heritage and understand the lifestyle of the past.
Following the educational visits, all students proceeded to Mina Park to relax and enjoy the natural environment. The park visit provided opportunities for physical activities, interaction with nature, and free play. This experience contributed to students’ physical development, observation skills, and overall well-being, making the trip both educational and enriching.
