Celebrating multifarious cultures and festivals symbolizes in the unity of international community, which our school takes pride. To commemorate the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha, the students presented a variety of activities celebrating the spirit behind the ‘Festival of Sacrifice’.
Diligently planned activities reaffirmed our faith in God and motivated the little ones to instill the spirit of love, compassion and sacrifice. A tableau depicting the rituals and virtuous deeds to be practiced during these days was beautifully presented. Students in dazzling costumes participated and got acquainted with the essence of celebrating Eid-ul-Adha.
‘Hadiths’ relating to the significance of celebrating Eid-ul-Adha were rendered by confident and self-assured young speakers. Shaza and Pratishta anchored the programme and startled the audience with their commendable performance.
The tiny tots of KG gave a scintillating performance tuning to the beat of a popular Nasheed- Eid un Saeedun melodiously sung by a young budding star Jaseer of class II-C amidst a lot of cheering and support.
A foot tapping dance number by the students of class I mesmerized one and all. The entire K.G section was in a festive mood chanting and buzzing ‘Takbeer’and Tahleel’.
A perfect scenario of the Hajj rituals was created highlighting the valuable message of love and sacrifice.
Principal Dr. Subhash Nair, Vice Principal (Academics) Mr. Shihabuddin and Headmistress Mrs. Mehjabeen Hasan graced the occasion and were highly appreciative of the outstanding performance of the students under the able guidance of the teachers.
It was gratifying to look around and see smiles on everyone’s face. It was indeed a pleasant and delightful day for the little ones.
