On the occasion of Teachers’ Day in 2023, the Embassy of India in Qatar honoured the Principal and two teachers from Shantiniketan Indian School for their exceptional contributions to the community as outstanding educators.
At a grand function organized by the ICC at Ashoka Hall, under the ambit of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, the Principal, Mr. Rafeeq Rahim was felicitated with an award and two teachers—Mrs. Shahnaz Sultana and Mrs. Nazia Saleem were acknowledged in recognition of their valuable services to the community as a teacher of outstanding merit. They were presented with certificates by His Excellency Mr. Vipul, Ambassador of India to the State of Qatar. The function was also graced by Dr. Sachin Shankpal, First Secretary, Culture and Education, Embassy of India in Qatar.
