Family Day is a celebration of the values that bind families together: love, respect, and support. It’s a day to recognize how important families are in our society and life. Shantiniketan Indian School, Preparatory section, celebrated Family Day on 15 May 2024. The Activity Coordinator, Ms. Nazia Tahseen coordinated various activities like poster making, speech, group discussion and collage making, with class teachers’ cooperation and support.
Knowledge on importance of family in our lives and how to be a happy, healthy family were emphasized by the respective class teachers and discussed with children. Children across various classes contributed to the celebration of this events by completely involving themselves. The whole event was supervised by Preparatory Section, Academic Supervisor, Mr. Wayne Rodriques.
Celebrating family day in school is a great way to bond for parents, children and their teachers. This event gave us an opportunity to reconnect, re-energize, refocus and share some quality time together.
