Father’s Day is a special occasion dedicated to honoring fathers and celebrating fatherhood, paternal bonds, and the influence of fathers in society. At Shantiniketan Indian School , we believe in instilling values of gratitude, respect, and love in our students. Celebrating Father’s Day helps reinforce these values by encouraging children to acknowledge and appreciate the role of their fathers or father figures in their lives.
This year, Father’s Day was celebrated ON 15th June 2025, with great enthusiasm. A blend of student creativity, family participation, and community spirit made this event memorable. Students presented cards to their fathers and sang songs dedicated to all fathers.The highlight of the day were the art integrated activities like ”My dad my superhero” that were part of the classroom activities for the day.
Leading up to the celebration, teachers prepared students through classroom discussions and short activities about the importance of Father’s Day. The primary section teachers encouraged children to create handmade greeting cards, and teachers guided students in writing poems or short paragraphs dedicated to their fathers.
Father’s Day at Shantiniketan Indian School was a heartwarming and enriching experience for students, staff, and families alike. The event successfully highlighted the importance of fathers while reinforcing the school’s mission to nurture compassionate, confident, and expressive individuals.
