SIS Academic Excellence Awards 2018-19 for Grades VII to XII were presented to the winners in the presence of their parents at a special Academic Felicitation ceremony held on Saturday, 22nd June 2019. Students received awards in different categories that included SIS Scholar Badge, Co-Scholastic Achievement Badge, 100 % Attendance Badge. Principal’s Honour badge was presented to the students who received both the Scholars Badge and the Co-Scholastic Badge.
It was a proud occasion for all students who received the awards. A total of 221 students were awarded on this occasion. It was truly an invigorating experience when the students were awarded for scoring centum in the board exams. The song and dance performed by the students added beauty to the program.
The children were honoured by Management Committee Member, Mr. Rasheed Ahmed, Principal, Dr. Subhash Nair, Vice Principals, and Head Teachers. Senior Vice-Principal, Mr. Shihabudeen Pulath in his address congratulated parents on the proud moments shared. He spoke about the progress of the school and the unique changes that the school has undergone. He motivated the students and the parents sighting examples of the exemplary scores in the board exam and International Bench Mark Test. He thanked all parents for their support.
The felicitation ceremony was highly appreciated by the parents. Mr. Muneer and Mr. Prabhu representing the parents community expressed their happiness for inspiring the students to receive accolades in different categories. They expressed their wholehearted gratitude to the SIS fraternity, attributing the success of their children to teachers.
