October 6, 2024:

The Foundation Section at Shantiniketan Indian School had an exciting adventure at Jungle Zone, with KG students visiting on October 6, 2024, and Grades 1 and 2 exploring the park on October 9, 2024. The trips aimed to provide the children with a day of excitement, play, and learning while enhancing their social and physical skills. Organized by Mr. Wayne Rodrigues, with coordination by Mrs. Mehak Lateef and oversight from section head Mrs. Mehjabeen Hassan, the outings were a great success.
For the KG students, the day was filled with laughter and discovery. They enjoyed rides like the Ferris wheel, Jumping Chicks, and merry-go-round, but the ball pit was the highlight, allowing them to develop their sensory and motor skills while diving into a sea of colorful balls. Simple arcade games such as whack-a-mole and mini basketball also contributed to improving their hand-eye coordination.
The older students in Grades 1 and 2 experienced a thrilling day filled with exciting rides like the swinging boat and spinning bus ride. The bumper cars were particularly popular, as students navigated the course with laughter and friendly competition, enhancing their motor skills and coordination. They also enjoyed physical play on the jungle gym and obstacle courses, which helped build their strength and endurance.
These trips provided valuable learning experiences, fostering teamwork, improving physical abilities, and building lasting friendships, all while enjoying an unforgettable day at Jungle Zone.
