Our school counsellors attended the Forum for Social and Psychological Specialists in Schools at the MoEHE Theatre, Doha. Organized by Aman Center (QFSW) in collaboration with MoEHE and DIFI, the event focused on the theme “Towards a Safe Child.”
The forum brought together experts from Qatar and the Gulf to address child protection, bullying prevention, and the growing need for psychological safety in schools. Speakers highlighted the importance of clear social worker roles, early intervention, and stronger family–school partnerships, noting that families shape nearly 80% of a child’s development. Emphasis was placed on empathy-driven support, emotional stability, and safeguarding procedures, including Aman’s 24/7 hotline and “Help Me” app.
The session reinforced a powerful message: Educators and specialists are building the emotional foundation of future generations.
