The Foundational Section students of Shantiniketan Indian School embarked on an enriching educational trip to MIA Park on 30th January 2025. The trip was thoughtfully designed to encourage children to connect with nature, foster social bonds, and promote holistic development beyond the classroom environment.
The vibrant outdoor setting of MIA Park provided the perfect backdrop for students to observe and appreciate the natural world. Through guided nature walks, they explored the park’s scenic beauty, observed different plants and landscapes, and developed a deeper sense of environmental awareness.
The trip also focused on physical development and social interaction. Engaging in outdoor games and group activities helped enhance their motor skills, teamwork, and communication. Students collaborated with their peers, building friendships and learning the values of cooperation and empathy.
Curiosity and exploration were at the heart of the day’s activities. The children’s natural inquisitiveness was sparked as they asked questions, discovered new sights, and participated in interactive learning experiences.
Moreover, the tranquil environment of the park played a significant role in promoting emotional well-being. The open spaces, fresh air, and moments of reflection allowed students to relax, recharge, and experience a sense of joy and calmness.
The trip to MIA Park was a memorable and meaningful experience, successfully blending fun with learning. It left the children with not just happy memories but also valuable life lessons about nature, friendship, and self-discovery.
