October 15, 2025:
Afternoon Session, celebrated Global Handwashing Day on 15th October 2025 with great enthusiasm. Various activities were conducted across different grades to spread awareness about the importance of proper hand washing among students.
In the Foundational Section, children participated in a pepper and hand wash liquid demonstration that visually showed how soap helps remove germs, reinforcing the importance of using soap or handwash. The mother teachers also demonstrated the correct steps of effective handwashing to the young learners.
Students of Grades 3 and 4 created a Handprint Pledge Wall, promoting the significance of maintaining good hand hygiene. For Grade 5, a poster-making competition was organized where students showcased their creativity and understanding of hand hygiene through colorful and meaningful posters.
Students from Grades 6 to 9 presented a special assembly highlighting the importance of handwashing and the harmful consequences of neglecting it, such as the spread of diseases. Their presentation effectively conveyed the message of hygiene and health awareness.
The event was graced by Principal Mr. Rafeeq Rahim and Senior Headmaster Mr. Rafeeque Ahmed, who addressed the students and emphasized the importance of cultivating healthy habits in daily life.
Overall, the celebration successfully instilled awareness among the students about the vital role of handwashing in maintaining health and preventing illness.
