The School counsellors of Shantiniketan Indian School had the privilege of attending the “Hand in Hand” Forum for Student Guidance in Private Schools and Kindergartens, organized by the Ministry of Education under the theme “Towards a Safe and Cohesive Educational Community.”
The forum brought together school leaders, counselors, and experts from key institutions, including Aman Center, Sidra Medical Center, Wifaq, and the Community Police, to discuss critical aspects of student welfare. Sessions focused on student safety, mental health support, family engagement, and inclusive education, providing valuable insights into safeguarding students and promoting emotional well-being in schools.
The event also marked the launch of the first edition of the Student Guidance Manual for Private Schools and Kindergartens, 2025, which serves as a vital resource for schools in effectively in addressing student needs.
