Inter-house Handball Tournament was organized by the SIS Physical Education department on 14, 15, and 18 September 2022. Students of all Houses got the opportunity to participate in the tournament. The tournament was witnessed by Mr. Rasheed Ahmed, President of SIS Management, and our principal Ms. Pamela Gosh, despite their closed schedule.
A total of 232 participants comprising 101 girls and 131 Boys took part in the tournament organized for Intermediate and Senior Boys and Girls respectively. The knockout system was followed for the competition. In spite of the hard climate all the participants played a fantastic Handball Match and represented their Houses brilliantly and in a disciplined manner.
In the Intermediate boy’s section finals, Green house emerged to be the winner by defeating Yellow house with a score of 05 – 01. In the intermediate Girls’ section finals, the yellow House wins the match against Red House with a score of 03 -02.
In the senior boys’ section finals, Red house emerged to be the winner by defeating Yellow house with a score of 02 – 01. In the Senior Girls’ section finals, the Green House wins the match against Blue House with a score of 04 -02.

In a conclusion, the experience of taking part in the competition after a long gap helped the students to gain knowledge and skills, and it also developed an interest in themselves to play the Handball game in the future for better exposure.
All the participants enjoyed themselves and after the match, the participants went back to the class with Pride.
