Hon’ble Vice President of India (HVPI) Shri M Venkaiah Naidu arrived in Doha on the 4th of June 2022 on the third leg of his 3-nation tour. He was accompanied by a high-level delegation including Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare.The meeting was hosted by the Indian Embassy and a community reception was held at Sheraton Hotel Doha where Vice-President addressed the members of the diverse Indian expatriate community in Qatar including prominent members, senior community leaders, businesspersons, students, teachers, fishermen and blue-collar workers.
Mrs Pamela Ghosh the principal and the teachers Wayne Rodrigues ,Payal Das and Dr Girish accompanied eight students of Shantiniketan Indian School, Doha for the event and had an opportunity to witness the cultural program and the eloquent speech delivered by the Hon’ble Vice President of India Shri M Venkaiah Naidu discussing the collaboration between the two fast-paced and ever-growing ecosystems resulting in long-term economic growth and prosperity between both India and Qatar.
After the speech was delivered the Vice president interacted with the students seated in the front rows and concluded with a sprawling dinner.
