Department of Physical Education organized Inter House chess tournament on 01 June, 2016 from 9.30 am. The competition was held for both boys and girls in Junior and Intermediate category. The tournament commenced with an informational power point presentation on the benefits of chess and showcased the renowned chess personalities through ages.
A total of 64 participants comprising 32 boys and 32 girls participated in the tournament. There were three rounds in the tournament. Each house members competed with all the other houses. Point system was followed in the competition where the winners were awarded 2 points. The house that attained maximum points was declared the winner.
