May 17, 2025:
The Inter-House Chess Tournament was successfully conducted by the SIS Physical Education Department on 17th May 2025. The event was a resounding success, embodying the true spirit of sportsmanship, strategic thinking, and healthy competition among the students.
A total of 32 participants — 16 girls and 16 boys — represented all four houses across the following categories:
- Senior Boys & Girls
- Intermediate Boys & Girls
The tournament was conducted in a knockout format, which ensured highly competitive and engaging matches throughout. Participants demonstrated not only their tactical prowess but also the core values of teamwork, discipline, and respect.
The event provided a remarkable platform for students to showcase their skills, build camaraderie, and grow through sport. Each participant’s enthusiasm and commitment played a vital role in making the tournament a grand success.
