June 17, 2026:
The Physical Education Department of Shantiniketan Indian School successfully conducted the Inter-House Chess Tournament 2026, providing students with an excellent platform to showcase their strategic thinking, concentration, and sportsmanship. The tournament witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across different houses, making the event highly competitive and engaging.
The event was inaugurated by the Principal, Mr. Rafeeque Raheem, in the presence of the Senior Headmaster, Mr. Rafeeque Ahmed, and the Academic Supervisors. They addressed the gathering, encouraging the participants to approach the tournament with confidence, discipline, and determination while upholding the true spirit of fair play.
The competition was conducted in four categories: Junior Girls, Junior Boys, Senior Girls, and Senior Boys. Students demonstrated exceptional analytical skills, patience, and determination throughout the tournament.

The Physical Education Department extends its heartfelt congratulations to all the winners and participants for their outstanding performances and commendable sportsmanship. We express our sincere gratitude to our Honorable Headmistress, Academic Supervisor, Coordinators, HOD of Physical Education, House Mentors, and all the PE teachers for their continuous guidance, encouragement, and support, which contributed to the successful organization of the tournament.
