September 14, 2025:
An Inter-House Culinary Art Competition was conducted on 14th September at Shantiniketan Indian School. Students from Grade 8, 9, and 11 enthusiastically participated and showcased their culinary skills through creative and healthy dishes.
The judging panel consisted of Ms. Suchitra (Biology Teacher & Home Science In-charge), Ms. Nazia Tahseen (Activity Coordinator, Preparatory Section), and Ms. Fida Ali (SIS APT Member & Dietitian), who evaluated the presentations based on taste, creativity, presentation, and nutritional value.
In Grade 8, Sapphire House secured the first position, Ruby House came second, and Topaz House finished third. In Grade 9, Sapphire House won the first position, Ruby House achieved the second, and Topaz House stood third. In Grade 11, Ruby House attained the first position, Emerald House secured the second, and Sapphire House earned the third place.
The efforts of the house mentors were sincerely appreciated for guiding and motivating the participants. This event was successfully coordinated by Ms. Soumya Mathew, Senior Activity Coordinator, ensuring smooth organization and active participation.
The competition not only enhanced culinary skills but also encouraged teamwork and creativity among students. It turned out to be a delightful and learning experience for all participants.
