Shantiniketan Indian School bagged the Best School team award in the Inter School Polemic Challenge organized by SIS. Eight Indian Schools participated in the event hosted by SIS. The contestants critically debated on the topic “Humans are aliens who infested the earth millions of years ago.”

Participants from DPS-MIS, M.E.S Indian School, Birla Public School, DMIS, Ideal Indian School, Al Khor International School, Bhavan’s Public School and Shantiniketan Indian School participated in this debate contest. Kaniz Fathma Sinethyah of class X moderated the debate.

Md. Yaqub Chowdhury of SIS was adjudicated the Best Speaker and Nishit Kumar Singhal of M.E.S won the award for the Best Rebuttal.

The second position was awarded to Nishit Kumar Singhal of M.E.S Indian School. Meeher Kapoor of Doha Modern Indian School was awarded the third position.

The judges were highly impressed by the skills demonstrated by the speakers and wished them a bright leadership future in the world where communication plays a very important role. Dr. Subhash Nair, Principal of SIS congratulated all the speakers for their exceptional preparation on a very challenging topic and appreciated their critical thinking skills.

The School Management and Staff showered huge praise for the wonderful effort of the SIS team.
