Kaniz Fathma Sinethyah (SIS) was adjudicated the Best Speaker and DPS-MIS emerged as the Best School in the Inter School Polemic Challenge – 2019 organized by SIS. Sanish Sajan of DPS won the award for the Best Rebuttal in a debate on the topic “Progress in Artificial Intelligence will revolutionize school education”
Eighteen Participants from Shantiniketan Indian School, DPS-MIS, M.E.S Indian School, Birla Public School, Al Khor International School, Rajagiri Public School, Bhavan’s Public School, Noble International School and Pearl School participated in this prestigious event. Tabarak Gulrez, Cultural Secretary of SIS moderated the debate.
The panel of judges consisting of Mr. Mantha Shrinivas, Ms. Shanty Rose, and Ms. Anupama Kashibhatla praised the thoughts, ideas and arguments put forward by the participants and wished them a bright future in the world where communication plays a very important role. Dr. Subhash Nair, Principal of SIS congratulated all the speakers for their exceptional preparation on a very futuristic topic and appreciated the participants for bringing out brilliant insights on the role of Artificial Intelligence in the field of education.
Four speakers Kaniz Fathma Sinethyah (SIS), Harish Sunil Kumar Gohil (AKIS), Sanish Sajan Varghese (DPS), and Nakshatra Gayan (DPS) are qualified to represent Qatar in the CBSE Gulf Sahodaya Polemic Challenge.
