International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking

June 24, 2026:

In observance of the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, the Preparatory Section (Forenoon) organized a series of meaningful and age-appropriate activities aimed at promoting healthy lifestyles and responsible decision-making among students. The programme was conducted under the supervision of Mr. Wayne Rodrigues, planned by Ms. Nazia Tahseen, Activity Coordinator, with the dedicated support of the Preparatory teachers.

Grade 3 students explored the theme “Healthy Choices, Happy Life” through interactive games, creative poster-making, and the engaging Balloon of Positivity activity, encouraging safe and healthy habits. Grade 4 students participated enthusiastically in the Healthy Habits Wheel, role plays, and the Tree of Good Choices, reinforcing the importance of positive values and responsible decision-making. Grade 5 students reflected on their goals and aspirations through the Path to a Bright Future activity, designed awareness campaigns, and showcased their knowledge in an interactive quiz competition focused on healthy lifestyles, peer pressure, and personal safety.

Through these enriching activities, students gained valuable insights into making positive life choices, empowering them to become responsible, informed, and confident members of society while building a brighter, safer, and happier future.
