Shantiniketan Indian School hosted International Kids Film Festival from 18th to 21st November 2018. During the film festival held at the school eighteen hundred students watched 18 award winning movies. Teachers, parents, alumni, Members of managing Committee and community members attended this mega event.
Two Hundred films from thirty countries in various genre which included comedy, drama, animation, action, fantasy, and documentary based on themes of friendship, child safety, peer and parental relationships, sense of belonging and identity, coping with disability, creativity and innovation, compassion, caring for the environment, social justice and many more.
As a first step towards helping children develop life skills through cinema the event ignited the imagination, encouraged diversity and exposed children to a new culture that made learning experiential and joyful.
