“An eloquent speech does not reach from the lips to the ears, but from the heart to the heart.” With this in mind, the Debate and Elocution Club of Shantiniketan Indian School, grades VI-VIII (Middle School) prepared for the Intra Class Elocution Competition, which was held on 22nd May 2023. The Section Coordinator organized the event with the utmost cooperation of the class teachers under the guidance of the Section Head.
All students of classes VI-VIII observed this event, and their presence inspired and encouraged all the participants who stood with zeal to elocute their voices in this event. The presence of the teachers further encouraged the participants. The jury panel was made up of instructors.
Content, confidence gesture, and presentation were defined as the grading criteria. The event began with the introduction of the competitors, followed by the declaration of the competition rules and a standing ovation for the competitors. Each choir member gave their all and kept the celebration moving with their powerful voices. The Elocution contest concluded with accolades for all contestants and encouragement for all other kids to participate in such events in the future.
