October 8, 2025:
The first introductory meeting for Scouts and Guides leaders was held on 8th October 2025 at the Scouts and Guides Office, Ain Khaled. Mrs. Carol Gonsalves (Guides Teacher Leader) and Mr. Mohd Wasiullah (Scouts Teacher Leader) attended the meeting on behalf of the school.
The meeting commenced with a prayer, followed by a brief introduction by Mr. Ahmed Khamis, Scouts Consultant. He welcomed all the leaders and shared the objectives of the session.
A workshop on “Safe from Harm” was then conducted, focusing on the safety and protection of Scouts and Guides during activities. The session highlighted practical measures to ensure a safe environment for all participants.
Following the workshop, the organizers felicitated last year’s Scouts and Guides leaders for their dedication and hard work in making the camps and training programs successful. Additionally, the school was presented with a certificate of appreciation for its active participation in Qatar National Sports Day.
Later, Mrs. Paramjeet Bullar delivered an insightful presentation on the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and its 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). She explained each goal clearly and encouraged leaders to organize activities with Scouts and Guides based on these global goals.
Towards the end of the meeting, Mrs. Mona discussed the Ministry’s activity calendar, upcoming programs, and the registration process for new Scouts and Guides. She concluded the meeting by expressing her gratitude to all leaders from various schools for their cooperation and participation.
Overall, the meeting was informative, productive, and set a positive direction for the Scouts and Guides activities in the coming year.
