Kalakshetra Qatar organized “Capture the Art” Inter School Drawing and Painting competition on April 14th, 2023. The event provided an opportunity for students and teachers to showcase their artistic skills where more than 200 students participated in the competition.
Svetlana Mary Shibu of Grade 7, Shantiniketan Indian School, participated in Category 3, which was open to students in grades 6-8. She took part in the ‘Painting on the spot competition’, specifically in the Still-life painting category. The participants were given guidance and advice by the organizing team to create their artworks. The competition recognized the efforts of the participants by awarding mementos, certificates, and gifts as prizes.
Art competitions like these provide a platform for young artists to showcase their talents and gain recognition for their hard work. Principal, Vice Principal and all the staff members congratulated Svetlana and wished her success for her future endeavors.
