Kerala Piravi Celebration

Students at Shantiniketan Indian School celebrated Keralappiravi with tremendous enthusiasm and excitement during a program titled “Keraleeyam,” which was organized and conducted by the Malayalam department. The event showcased various cultural performances, including Thiruvathirakkali, Mappilappattu, Folk dance, Oppana, Speech, and Poetry Recitation, reflecting the rich and diverse culture and traditions of Kerala.

The gathering was addressed by Principal Rafeeq Rahim and Vice Principal Dr. Salil Hassan, who shared their thoughts and sentiments with the audience. Middle Section Head Teacher Mrs. Nazia Saleem and Head of the Malayalam department, Mr. Prasad, also graced the event with their presence and shared their insights.

The vote of thanks was proposed by Malayalam teacher Lini Varghese, who expressed gratitude to everyone involved in making the celebration a resounding success. Keralappiravi was indeed a memorable and culturally enriching occasion for all those in attendance at Shantiniketan Indian School.
