Students of Shantiniketan Indian School celebrated the International Worker’s Day by honoring the support staffs, drivers, conductors and other people in the school who extend their support during their stay in school. They expressed their gratitude by gifting the staffs with goodies and hampers that were contributed by students as part of their SEWA (Social Empowerment through Work and Action) Programme, an initiative to promote community service among students and parents.
Principal, Dr. Subhash Nair appreciated the students, parents and the teachers in implementing the theme of love and bringing about an awareness of the lives of people who deserved to be loved and respected in the society.
