December 11, 2025:
The English Department successfully organized “Little Literati – Celebrating the Joy of Words,” a week-long literary fest for the Foundational Section, aimed at nurturing language skills, creativity, confidence, and a love for literature. Students from KG I, KG II, and Grades 1 & 2 participated enthusiastically in age-appropriate activities such as memory-based games, phonics challenges, storytelling, rhyme recitation, character portrayal, and reading events.
The Closing Ceremony on 11 December 2025 was enriched by vibrant literary and stage performances by students of the Middle and Preparatory Sections. The event was graced by the President, Principal, Vice Principal, Academic Supervisor – Foundational Section, Mrs. Mehjabeen Hasan, Academic Supervisor – Preparatory Section, Mr. Wayne Rodrigues, and Academic Supervisor – Middle Section, Mrs. Nazia Saleem.
The program concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Mrs. Fathima Jumana, HOD – English, celebrating imagination, expression, and the achievements of our young learners.
The winners of Little Literati – Consolidated Results- In the ‘Memory Game’, winners included Salma Fathima Mohamed Shaju (KGI D), Inarah Irfan (KGI B), and Nawal Bint Nashid (KGI A) for KG I; Azwa Safeer (KGII A), Emin Huzain Musthafa (KGII D), and Maryam Inaayah (KGII D) for KG II; and Noora Faris (2A), Inaara Mehrin (2E), and Haira Ravoof (1B) for Grades 1 & 2. The ‘Read-Out Rally’ for Grades 1 & 2 saw Aahil Ali (2A) and Hrithika Mithun (2E) secure first place, followed by Noora Faris (2A) and Adheen Muhammed Arat Thodi (1B). ‘Phonic Fun Fiesta’ winners in KG I were Ezzah Faisal (KGI B), Dana Zakin Parammal (KGI B), and Zahwa Nabeel (KGI C), while the ‘Phonic Star Challenge’ in KG II was led by Muhammed Mihran (KGII B), Shahzain Dilshad (KGII B), and Azwa Safeer (KGII A). In the ‘Storytelling Session’, top performers were Aiza Mehrin (KGI C), Hazal Ziya Azeem (KGI B), and Inaaya Zehak Suhail (KGI B) for KG I; Ayaana Kudillil Ajish (KGII C), Nakshatra Akhil (KGII C), and Maryam Inaayah (KGII D) along with Emin Ayrin Shajeeh (KGII B) for KG II; and Nifasha Sanoof (2D), Marwa Majid Mohammed (1D) with Iniya Singara Karthickeyan (1D), and Joanna Elizabeth Tino (1B) with Dhilul Thoiba Thoiba (1C) for Grades 1 & 2. The ‘Rhyme and Rhythm’ event featured winners Liya Fathima N Lishan (KGI B), Haya Fathima Shammas (KGI B), and Namasvi Dhanesh (KGI A) in KG I; Ayaana Kudillil Ajish (KGII C), Zaynab Bin Lafnas (KGII B), and Emin Hussain (KGII D) in KG II; and Rachel Jacob (1D), Pranithra Prabakaran (1B), and Dhilul Thoiba Thoiba (1C) in Grades 1 & 2. In ‘Character Spotlight’, top honors went to Anayah Ali (KGI C), Aiden Mathew Sibin (KGI C), and Ehsan Ibrahim Nusair (KGI C) for KG I; Ayisha Abdul Raooh (KGII B), Emin Hussain (KGII D), and Izaan Bin Adil (KGII C) for KG II; and Nifasha Sanoof (2D), Joanna Elizabeth Tino (1B), and Dhilul Thoiba Thoiba (1C) for Grades 1 & 2. The ‘Rhyme Time Challenge’ for Grades 1 & 2 concluded with Airah Zainab Anwar (1B) securing first place, followed by Izyan Mohammed Kamal (2C) and Hazim Muhzeen (1D).
