October 20, 2025:
Shantiniketan Indian School successfully and enthusiastically conducted a mock-up fire drill on Monday, 20th October 2025, for the morning session, in collaboration with PRO Trade and Installation of Alarm and Fire Safety Equipment.
The school was excited to partner with the Association of Parents and Teachers (APT), whose proactive coordination and guidance ensured that the drill was well-planned, informative, and highly effective. The school staff also provided full support, contributing to the smooth execution of the exercise.
During the drill, students from Grades 1 to 12 had the chance to observe demonstrations on using a fire extinguisher and a fire blanket, gaining valuable hands-on knowledge of fire safety techniques. The session also included emergency evacuation procedures, helping students and staff learn how to respond calmly, confidently, and efficiently in the event of a fire.
Shantiniketan Indian School is truly grateful for the APT’s proactive involvement and the school team’s dedicated support in making this essential safety initiative a resounding success.
