Mother’s Day a celebration honoring mothers and motherhood, maternal bonds, and the influence of mothers in society. 10th May, 2015 being “Mother’s Day” was celebrated with enthusiasm and zeal at the CBSE (i) wing.
The Programme was anchored by Miss.Vishwa and Miss Astha students of grade X (i)
Miss Lamya Ibrahim of Class VI (i) welcomed, greeted and appreciated all mothers. The Day started with a prayer recited by Master Jaber and translated by Master Mohammad of Class VI (i) the prayer beautifully described kindness.
A beautiful song “Mother Of Mine” presented by the CBSE-i choir. A folk dance presented by students of class IV(i), V(i), and VI(i) with a theme displaying parents support followed by Games. Winner of the Game was Mrs. Mona
Mothers took part in an activity – “Imprints” which was displayed later. In the Sandwich Making Competition. Mrs. Anila Asif declared First, Mrs. Amani Ali declared Second, and the Third prize was shared between Mrs. Iman Ibrahim and Mrs.Shahina
Last but not the least parents endorsed a Jumbo Mother’s Card with their precious appreciations.
The vote of thanks was given by Salma Ahmed of class 6A (i). She appreciated all mothers for being a part of the Programme.
