November 11, 2025:
Shantiniketan Indian School celebrated National Education Day on 11th November 2025 to honour the birth anniversary of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, India’s first Education Minister and a visionary educationist.
The Department of Social Science conducted engaging activities across all sections.
In the Foundational Section, students learned through colouring, storytelling, crafts, quizzes, and “Petals of Learning” activities, promoting curiosity and creativity.
The Preparatory Section held video presentations, discussions, and quizzes, helping students appreciate the importance of education and Maulana Azad’s contributions.
In the Middle Section, students expressed their understanding through PPTs, essays, posters, drawings, and quizzes. Class 8 highlighted Maulana Azad’s life and work, while Grade 6 presented speeches, posters, and presentations on his contributions to national education.
The celebration successfully blended art, history, values, and learning, inspiring students to uphold Maulana Azad’s vision and reaffirming the school’s commitment to knowledge and lifelong learning.
